A Few Words

About Liz Mayta

Liz Mayta, a third-generation San Francisco native, has spent her entire career in accounting and bookkeeping.

She began as an auditor for an international construction company, then followed with a role at a Bay Area CPA firm, preparing individual and small business tax returns.

When she saw how often clients’ records came to her in less-than-reliable condition, Liz realized she could fill a gap. Her background made her uniquely qualified to prepare useful reports for the CPA.

Liz established her bookkeeping service to serve small business clients and the CPAs who do their tax work. She thinks of bookkeeping as a rewarding puzzle to be solved. “I get great satisfaction,” she says, “from helping clients create clarity in their books so they can make good business decisions.”

Liz is an avid reader of detective and mystery novels and a longtime community volunteer. She raised two daughters on the Peninsula, both CPA candidates at large firms. Liz recently fell for the German Shepherd she was fostering and adopted him.
